Wonderful family health clinic. It is attached to an urgent care, but the health clinic side is great. They're very accommodating, and take good care of their patients. They are only open Monday - Thursday, which can sometimes be inconvenient. But the staff is lovely, and great Dr and PA.
This clinic did absolutely nothing but of course took my money
Well I thought since I'd been here before, I'd go back when I needed to especially since my info was already there. I waited over an hour in the lobby, and there were only 4 people ahead of me. I finally get called to the back, got seen immediately by the nurse who does a strep test. I waited 90 minutes in the tiny exam room for the doctor to come in there and tell me I had strep. WHY did it take 90 minutes for him to tell me that?? Regardless, I told the nurse I'd prefer Walgreens on 50th and Q since it was on my way to work and this was prior to finding out I had strep. But no problem I'd still go to pick it up then go home. I got to that Walgreens an hour later figuring surely it'd be ready, it's just amoxicillin. Nope, not ready and my profile wasn't even there which meant it hadn't been sent by Kings Park yet. I figured ok, I'll go get gatorade, tissues, etc and maybe some lunch and come back. STILL wasn't there an hour later. I kept calling and calling and checking and still not there. Called Kings Park they said 50th and Q, right? I said yes, waited another 30 minutes and called Kings Park again and they said please hold and I was on hold for 20 minutes, obviously got forgotten about...then I call back to Walgreen's one more time, and FINALLY 3 hours later the pharmacist says it's ready but it's not at 50th and Q Walgreens, it's at 50th and Slide...I will NEVER EVER go back to Kings Park EVER. Worst experience and a joke. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. 90 minutes to tell me I have strep and they wouldn't even give me a shot or ANYTHING to make me feel better.
