We were 5 hours from home when our Duchess got ill. They were open even though it was a holiday and took such good care of her she felt better 12 hours later. Thank you!

I have used Small Animal Emergency Clinic before. My assessment of a veterinary clinic is based on the compassion and competency of the people who work there and how they treat my pets, myself and others. This past Wednesday my sister and I rushed over with my daughter's Chihuahua. That night was not a good night for a lot of pets and their families and the clinic was very busy. We came in with my daughter's Chihuahua in a bad state. We were seen quickly and were given an assessment of her injuries. I want to acknowledge Becca Bridge, DVM for her warmth and professional demeanor, her vet assistant and the rest of the staff that night that took care of my daughter's little dog Emma. I also appreciate the kindness shown and sympathy expressed by Dr. Bridge when she called and provided a compassionate and professional assessment of Emma's worsen condition early Thursday morning. In addition, thank you for the kindness shown to my daughter from the morning staff when we went to pick up her beloved Emma. Small Animal Emergency Clinic could not save Emma, her injuries were to much. Should my pet(s) need emergency care again, I know I will come back to this clinic.

Had to bring our hamster here because she was peeing blood. It was a Sunday and the other vet clinics in town were closed. So I gave this place a call to see if they are able to deal with hamsters, being a less common pet. The lady who answered the phone put me on hold to ask the vet and I was told that they were able to look at our hamster and treat her. We proceeded to bring her in, the vet did some xrays and screenings and came to the conclusion she had an Urinary Tract Infection... a pretty common illness, right? Well turns out the vet said she wasn't able to reduce the medicine they have for UTI's to a small enough dose for our hamster. But earlier I was told over the phone that they were able to treat hamsters and now I'm being told they can't give us a hamster size dose of medicine for a pretty common illness. We left having to pay over $100 and no medicine in hand - all we got was a written letter with the diagnosis and told to go to an exotic animal clinic the next day and hope they don't charge us again for another diagnosis. I feel completely scammed as they lied about providing service they could not deliver. Beware exotic pet owners.

Awesome staff, open after hours when everything is closed. It is a little more expensive than a regular vet clinic, but it is emergency care. They took great care of our cat.

We've visited Lubbock small animal emergency clinic three times and all three times the staff has been very helpful and friendly
