Was not fond of Dr. Taylor at all. I was a bit hesitant on giving my puppy shots that “would burn a lot,” (horrible experiences with previous shots & they were for vomiting when the issue was diarrhea), and he came in the room and flipped. He became very sarcastic saying screw the shots, he would just send me home with pills bc those didn’t burn. It was so rude and unnecessary. I later found out I was overcharged $30, which I understand must have been an honest mistake, but I can't imagine if I wouldn’t have called to question my invoice. Followed the orders on the medication; it’s been a full week and my pup has yet to fully recover. We will not be back.
I got a goldendoodle puppy and was looking for a good vet for her and came across the reviews on here to decide on using him as my vet. When she was 9 weeks old she had an accident and ending up fracturing her leg so I have gotten to see Dr. Taylor every week since getting a puppy and he is the BEST. As a college student who is having to go every week to the vet, he has been very cost efficient with me and takes the time to explain everything in detail but also in terms that I can understand. He hasn't cost me an arm and a leg and gets me in ASAP when she tears up her cast! He is very wise and does not do anything unnecessary and is the best vet I have ever experienced! 100% recommend.
I don't know if they just assume that they'll get repeat customers because of demand, but I know how good vet offices run, and I will not be returning to this one.
I don't appreciate how pet owners are treated here. Maybe the doctor is smart, however he will walk in with 2-3 techs alongside him, most keeping their back turned to you, then prioritize your concerns and only address 1 of them.
On top of Dr. Taylor's great shot giving abilities he was very informative, I'm a bit of a worry wart but he answered all my questions with care and never made me feel silly for asking them. I received free samples and the staff was extremely nice and professional.
I travel all over the state's for work and with my animals. The vet is always a miserable experience for my animals and myself. I got a new puppy, and she's very dramatic! But she thought this place was Disneyland for dogs. The method they used to administer shots is just not used by all vets apparently because my dramatic pup wasn't phased. I've already moved and today when I got her next round of shots from a different vet it was just a miserable experience like I used to have!!!
Your search is over this is the vet you want to use!
Dr. Taylor is the best with my fur babies! I was raised on a farm and we had an "old school" type of vet for or animals and nowadays that type of vet is hard to come by. But I found that perfect type in Dr. Taylor! He's not in it to rake in money. He won't treat your animals with immunizations that they don't actually need or medicate them for something that a few simple, home cooked chicken & rice mixture dinners would easily fix for next to nothing cost wise. He's very informative and takes the time to explain exactly what is going on with your pet in lamen terms and will take the time to answer any questions you have. I can 100% trust his advice/recommendations and treatment of both my dogs no questions asked! I know if he says one or both of my fur babies need an x-ray, vaccination, surgical procedure, medication etc that they absolutely need it. I really like that in the event your animal needs a costly procedure he does have payment options and credit options. His entire staff is very pleasant to deal with and have always been helpful. I just can't say enough good things about this clinic! I would highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the market for a new veterinarian! You won't be disappointed! Take note that depending on how your coming into the clinic it may be difficult to see from the road. Trees kind of hide the black and white sign on the building. The parking lot is extremely small. However I've never had a problem not being able to park.
Being alone with a sick puppy, their process was rather intimidating to me, and a friendly face would have helped tremendously. Also, calling to make a follow-up appointment, my questions were met with rude answers and unprofessional tone.
