We both wanted a big sandwich and soup and McAlister's Deli made it happen! I just want to address the elephant in the room. When we sat down to wait for our meal, there were only 3 tables left. This place gets packed for lunch, and they are under staffed.
Ordered roast beef, cheese and gravy sandwich. Served hot and so tasty. Service was good but waited 30 mins for food.
For sandwiches we went a little crazy. I got The New Yorker, and she got the King Club. Both were too much food...but really good. The King Club had really great, fresh ingredients in it. I loved the honey mustard they used. The New Yorker is just tons of delicious corned beef, pastrami and Swiss cheese.
Oh, and you can pass on the Mac and Cheese. It did nothing for us.
Have had a number of problems with this location. This last time I called to simply make an order for pickup. The order was being picked up by someone else. This apparently complicated things so much that they had difficulty finding the order for about half an hour. Will not return to this horrible place.
If you haven't had their wild berry lemonade ,stop what you are doing, run to the nearest McAlister's now. It's "how did I not know about this" good. We went on this outing about two weeks ago. I have thought about this lemonade everyday for two week.
Worst customer service I have ever received from a McAlister's Deli. They messed up my takeout order and when I called the store the manager answered and asked wehat was wrong with my order then proceeded to set the phone on the counter and forgot about me for 15 minutes. I could here the staff helping every one in the store but did not care about me. Not going back to this location again.
The take home here is, GO GET THAT LEMONADE!
Soup: I always get the Chicken Tortilla Soup, it's just a little spicy/creamy, I love the texture, it Southern comfort food really.
Wife had Broccoli cheddar soup, I thought it was good, and she said it hit the spot. However, she eyeballed my Chicken Tortilla soup all lunch.
