Ever since my friend told us bout this place ,we have loved it ever since,We enjoy getting food from there.Thank you Aloha Grill and the customer service we get there.
The amount of food you get for your $ at this place is nothing short of ridiculous. There is sometimes a 10-15 minute wait because the establishment is almost practical-joke small and many people call in their orders ahead but believe me when I say it is WELL WORTH IT. For around $8 you get a to-go box filled to the brim with fried rice and delicious Hawaiian-inspired marinated meat. Seriously, I’m a 220lb guy and I can’t finish this thing in one sitting. The lady that takes your order isn’t exactly the most friendly but this is one of those rare occasions where the food overshadows that.
Although it is not a fancy place, I suggest everyone to go there and try their food :)
I was really hoping this place would be more authentic Hawaiian BBQ but it was more like Asian food parading as Hawaiian food. The chicken was good but was a little too grey colored for my taste. It is to be expected though that finding real traditional Hawaiian BBQ in west Texas might be difficult.
I tried the mini beef plate & my wife tried fried noodles with beef. First of all, the portion of all meals are really big here. Second, it was very tasty and I really liked it. Finally, their price are very good, most of their full plates are around $8.(October 2017)
Takes a long time but this place is awesome. I have rated this place before and may have given a 4 due to the super long wait. But honestly it is worth the wait.
