I treated myself to a stay-cation, specifically looking for a room with a hot tub in the room. Super 8 had the best rate with the highest reviews. It was great! The hot tub was perfect. Indoor swimming pool is nice, good standard free breakfast. Only issue was a noise problem, being on the first floor and next to the stairs. I don't know if other 1st floor rooms would have the same issue. Would definitely still reconned recommend though.

I have made a point of avoiding Super 8's in the past; however, this hotel was in the right place at the right time. It appears to be of newer construction, the room was very spacious and clean. There were no marks or junk on the bathroom walls. The carpet appeared to be clean. The shower nozzle functioned on all the various settings. I am very picky about bed comfort and was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the bed was. The air conditioner in the window worked well with a wall control unit. Breakfast was good, but I was surprised that there was no breakfast meat (bacon or sausage). For a one night stay passing through Lubbock TX, this hotel was the right price, the right location and was the best Super 8 I have been in in the past 20 years.
Joe at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The two ladies at the front desk were not helpful or friendly at all. The lady who was serving breakfast was also very helpful and friendly. I was surprised at how nice Super 8 was. I found a roach in the bathroom which was dying so I knew at least they spray the building. Overall it was a nice stay.
Great customer service, staff regularly said hello and good morning. I had issues working the AC but the staff helped out. The breakfast was good.
