We purchased a bed lift from Mathis on Tuesday, June 6th. When it was delivered it was discovered that they were missing a part for the lift to function correctly. We were told that they would get the part and return it to install on Monday, June 12th.
My experience shopping at Mathis Sleep Center was good. The help was attentive, informative and helpful. She made my experience very easy. However I don't think the mattress is a fit for me, too soft. I am refreshed in the morning when I get up so I am hoping once I get use to it, it will be fine. I keep thinking that it is just the difference from sleeping on an old worn out mattress to a really nice one. Time will tell.
We attempted to contact the store manager Kristi Kelly and we have not heard back as of now.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Mathis with Christy. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable, she was so friendly and understood our needs. She pointed us right to the mattress that we ended up buying after we told her what our preferences were. She did not attempt to sell us anything that we told her right off the bat that we didn't like. After visiting Mathis, we shopped around for another day but ultimately went back to Mathis to purchase our mattresses because no other sleep shop in town could beat their prices and their staff. We were so lucky to have found Christy and Mathis. I would recommend this sleep store to anyone looking to purchase a new bed.
My wife took off work on Monday, June 12th to meet the technician at the house. She called that morning to ask the approximate time of delivery. The warehouse manager said he did not know what we were talking about and didn't have the part. He was then very condescending and acted like it wasn't his problem --no apology whatsoever. Awful customer service, especially since they had almost a week to get together what they needed.
We have been very happy with the whole experience. Great bed and great service and the delivery folks were terrific. Very friendly and helpful...highly recommend to anyone.
Christy made buying a bed so easy and not as stressful as my husband and I had expected. She totally listened to what we wanted and helped us find the perfect bed for us. It was our first time buying a bed and we keep saying we've never been so excited for a bed!! We're so thankful for how knowledgeable and kind Christy is. We will be recommending Mathis to all of our friends, and it will be the only place we buy for our kids in the future!!!
