I stayed at this hotel in the spring and had a horrible experience. Quite possibly the worse hotel experience of my life. The front desk agent comped my room and asked that I give them a second chance as they were just beginning to undergo some extensive staffing changes.
I will start by saying the hotel has signs posted saying they are renovating. That being said the room we stayed in had dried caulk on the floors and floor molding peeled back. The carpet had hair, as though it wasnt vaccummed. The fridge made a constant whining noise and the A/C, auto feature did not seem to work. The staff seemed friendly. These issues were not addressed with management due to our late arrival (8 pm) and our one night stay.
The room was great the people were nice I really enjoyed my stay there the indoor pool and jacuzzi was really convenient considering it was winter time the complimentary breakfast was my only complaint they had eggs potatoes no sausage no bacon who eat eggs without sausage or bacon LOL but other than that I really enjoyed my stay there I would recommend staying here for anyone
Check in was quick, room was very clean & appeared to be freshly updated. Front desk called about an hour after my arrival to ensure my room was as expected. Has indoor pool with hot tub. Area is quiet. Enjoyed my stay.
I booked a room here because I wanted to throw my daughter a pool party/Sleepover. I called ahead to make sure this would be allowed & they approved. I also booked a small meeting room for the evening. The staff was awesome! So courteous & accommodating. They made sure I had everything needed for my event. The room was clean & cozy & everything was in working order. The pool was a nice amenity. It's a large well-kept indoor pool & a spa. Plenty of space for my handful of kids & other guests, too. Breakfast was good & included eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy & waffles as the hot items. They kept it well stocked & fresh & there was plenty of seating. All in all I enjoyed our stay here & if I need a place in town again I will most definitely consider this location.
The staff, first and foremost, were amazing and accommodating. The room was clean. Everything worked and worked well. This is now my go-to hotel in Lubbock.
Good job to everyone who has turned this place into a winner!
I gave them that second chance two weeks ago and must say that I am extremely pleased I did. Talk about a compete turn-around.
