Diana Ortiz and staff have really blown us away...
This place was way better than we expected. Friendly staff, clean environment, great breakfast, and has a bar. The look is very modern.
Great experience. I stay in a lot of hotels, and was really impressed with this one. Clean room, comfortable bed, good water pressure, and good breakfast. Lots of conveniences. This will be the only place I stay in Lubbock.
If I was the owner of this hotel.. I would do my best to hold onto Diana..because she is definitely going places!
We just got lucky and found Hawthorn Suites of lubbock...normally we look for a 4 star minimum for lodging...,
Check-in went smoothly as was finding the room. Our room was a suite with a kitchenette - which was a pleasant surprise. In general we liked the room but had a few items that detracted: Not enough parking (most were reserved for a clinic down the way), the toilet ran all the time, and the TV remote didn't work. Staff was friendly and breakfast was as expected. Oh, their points of interest book was riddled with spelling errors.
Lubbock didn't offer that option.._but after seeing our room and the kind reception we received and true true hospitality..we will pursue Hawthorns from here on out!
This place is very nice. The suite had everything you would need. Very clean and pretty. The staff were really helpful and kind. And the breakfast was fantastic. Definitely staying there again.
