This was the worse hotel I have ever stayed in, customer service was just horrible. I drove more than 6 hrs. to what a thought was going to be a great experience. It was a holiday weekend and I was looking forward to being at Lubbock. But I was disappointed right away.. I had done my homework before I booked the room and I made sure they were a pet friendly hotel. Well to them pet friendly meant small dogs only, which is fine if they want to do that but at least don’t false advertise. When I checked in I was told cats were not allowed, because if we had a cat they had to do a different type of cleaning vs. a dog. Which later I found out it was completely BS because I asked a cleaning crew member and they had no idea what I was talking about. Thankfully I had a friend that was able to take care of my cat while I was there. Had I not, I’m not sure what I would have done, probably stayed in my car instead. After going back and ford with the manager, I forcefully had to agree to taking my cat elsewhere, but then I got to the room. That experience was not any better, the room had no carpet which again wondered why cats were not allowed. Then I was given a room that had access to the a joint room next door. But the door separating the two rooms did not even have working lock. The solution was placing a nightstand in front of the door, maybe it was safe for someone but not me. I called the front desk and not only did they not care but they told me they would send someone after I mention how unsafe it was. Sadly after 20 min waiting no one came up and I was forced to go back down to the front desk. The receptionist stated that they could not move me because they were 100% booked. But once I asked for the manager and explained how I would not feel safe, she magically found a room. The room itself was not really clean, the bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. I certainly don’t recommend this place for anyone and specially if you have a pet.
I ended up here due to serious personal issues and they couldn't have been nicer to me. Very helpful and kind- not something you see very often from strangers. Within 30 minutes of getting to my room the front desk called to make sure my room was acceptable and that I had everything I would need for my overnight stay. This place is excellent.
Stayed for at this hotel for a weekend. Front desk was very friendly and helped me out with local restaurants and attractions. The breakfast was great, excellent waffles, fresh apples, yogurt, muffins, and Danish. Room was clean and all the staff was very personal, and helpful.
Very clean and quiet, room was tastefully decorated. On site bar with a couple pool tables was open late. 2 Outdoor pools were cleverly positioned.
Nice Hotel; Clean and very pleasant rooms. There was a cute little pool and i enjoyed the usage of the Fitness room. Free Breakfast offered from 6-9:30am. The staff was also nice & friendly!
