I took in my lab coat to be cleaned. I went to pick it up the next day, and the patch was missing off of the front of it (and there was an obvious marred mark where it came off). They delayed the coat another day while they searched for the patch. They never found it. When I finally was able to get the coat back they refused to even discount the price of a replacement patch. Needless to say, I will NEVER be going back, and I would advise you to follow suit. Very unprofessional.
Comets is an okay cleaners service, there is nothing special or advantageous about them from any other in a similar business. I have went here multiple times and have not had any huge issues with them so far. The fact that people are bringing up a top voted avalanche journal as the only reason why they are good only strengthens the thought that it could be an employee or friend. In my opinion, this is a good place to go, but has nothing special in cleaning offers or prices. I have been going here and will continue to go here, because of the mere fact they have not screwed anything up and have provided all my clothing back in good condition. There were shirt's buttons broken couple of times. Also, when I took my white pants for stains being removed, they did regular dry cleaning on them without treating the stains first even though I specificly told the staff it need stain removing before dry cleaning.
Always great service and great staff! No issues and I've been a customer for years...
