Bill you need to get another job, because yours requires customer service and you are terrible at it.
I cannot begin to say how much I appreciate the kindness of Chris! I had one of those travel days where everything that can go wrong, went terribly wrong. I booked my car through the 800 number. When my flight was delayed over and over and it looked like I would miss being able to get a car to get home, I desperately called the Lubbock desk. Chris answered and was incredibly helpful. One kind person can make a long hard day much better. Thank you Chris!
I never write reviews but dear god, Bill was the rudest associate I have ever dealt with. I travel for a living and have never dealt with someone like this. He gave me a car with low tires told me to turn around and he would have a car for me. No one was there with a car, he told the guy over radio that he was swamped and couldn't help right away. A nice maintenance guy drove me to him, and no one was at the counter. He told me I don't have any cars I don't know what you want me to do..... after he tried to upgrade me to THREE different cars.
Awful! Awful! Bill is the rudest associate out there. They double charged us an excessive amount of money and when going to go talk to him he sayed nobody else has had problems like this but he will have pissed off costumers coming to pick up car rentals. he also stated “i don’t have time for this” and gave me a number to call and walked away. DO NOT use Avis or Bill. This is our first time using Avis this DEFINITELY WILL BE OUR LAST !!! save yourself some trouble and time and stay away from them.
I love you. I love you. Alamo would not work with my debit card. I came to Avis, Steve, the representative was wonderful. He worked with my debit card. The transaction was easy and breezy. He was polite, he was accommodating, he was awesome. He went over everything with us. I will certainly come back.
Very fast and painless. I recommend to signup for Preferred account, which is free. I was able to go to the front of the line of about 5 people to quickly show my ID and get the keys. No paperwork, inspections, signatures or anything. No trying to upsale insurance or other coverages. I just deselected those options on my online account and it is never again broughtup. The car was very clean and in great shape. The app is very helpful for finding any information needed or to upgrade any features. I have been converted from Enterprise where it is a minimum of 15 minutes to get the car even after reserving online.
Another associate said, here give her this car. Thank goodness because I was already late for a work meeting.
