It's the best option for off campus student housing. It's close to campus and the floor plan allows for completely separate living and entertaining spaces. Not much to complain about except the utilities, but I think that's universal at all the apartments in the area.
Repairs aren't made in a timely manner after work orders are submitted. If I had known the issues with this property, we would have chosen another place to live. For the price you pay to live here, you would think the service would be better. Pool needs to be cleaned.
Place was alright to live, the computer lab is pretty great as they have free printing and macs. The pool is nasty and was constantly filled with cigarettes. The worst part is that they scammed me out $125 dollars. I owed $200+ at the end of the year for stupid fees and asked if my deposit would cover some of the charge. Management looked through my files and said I never gave a deposit. I couldn't access my Connect housing account to prove it to them because they block access to it when you move out. My bank statement even said I had deposited $125. 2 years later, I have access to the website again and surprise surprise, I actually gave a deposit.
U club townhomes is an amazing place to live. Having lived here for 2 years and also worked the front counter I have found that there is truly no better place to live as far as student housing goes. The management is quick to respond to issues and it being a small property, maintenance has a quicker turn around for all issues. The units are pretty much brand-new and what you see in the model is what you get. The price point is little higher than most properties, however you pay for what you get. With a resort style pool, 24 hour gym, and game room you just can't beat it. I just resigned my lease for senior year and would recommend this property ro anyone.
Don't live here! First NOT safe. There was a rape in the sister apartment across the street in which a stranger waited for the victim to get home and he attacked her. Although uclubs was well-aware of the rape, they Failed to repair a the car and pedestrian gates. I made several requests as my unit was near a pedestrian gate, and the lock was never fixed. Anyone could enter the premise at any time and there are a lot of questionable characters walking around at all hours. Next is the management is very disorganized and does not return calls or emails in a timely manner. The gym water filter had not been changed for months so all the build up of sediment in the filter is a health concern. Finally, the unit I occupied was not clean and had lots of damage when I moved in. (Missing drawers, cracked counters, water damage, dirty floors) The management team billed me for damage I clearly annotated on my move-in form. They acknowledged I received the unit in dirty conditions, yet want me to pay a cleaning fee and I left the unit way cleaner than I when I moved in. I will be posting photos on yelp and Facebook. DONT live here! Dirty, Unsafe, Ripoff.
