DO NOT SIGN HERE. I attended their grand opening and was showered with free food, gifts etc. promised low rates, early move in, and whatever bed space I wanted. Not even a week later I was asked to come in to sign a form essentially changing the move in date which I found questionable. I then asked for a copy of my lease and the employee refused to give me a copy until my lease was signed by a landlord and even then I was emailed a scanned copy- never received a hard copy of my lease. A couple weeks later I get an email notifying me that a guarantor has not signed the guarantor agreement- on the last day that the form can be signed and submitted. I requested and was promised specific bed spacing considering I was one of the first to sign, not only did I get the smallest bed space but I was told by an employee that the board displaying housing vacancy at the time I signed was not accurate and should've been "updated." On 3 separate visits I was unable to speak to a leasing manager or anyone other than the college employees at the front desk and they were unprofessional and quite frankly they were rude! 5 bedrooms were $589, 4 bedrooms $599 , now 4 bedrooms are $489 , I've been told as low as $459!! If you are a college student I highly suggest you not sign here, I know several people who signed that are currently trying to sublet- not to mention they are supposed to be done in less than 3 weeks and from the looks of it still need lots of work. In the event that they aren't finished, dummies like me will be temporarily moved into a hotel however still have to pay rent for our UNFINISHED apartments. My experience overall has been stressful and disloyal and I have not even moved in yet which concerns me when doing business with them in the future. If given the option i'd rate these apartments ZERO stars.
Great place to live in. I really like my house and it's pretty close to Wal-mart. The bus that takes us to campus is always on time. The staff is caring and always welcoming. Even though they could have already given us our mailbox keys and continue to have activities for us students, it's worth it to pay what I'm paying for.
scam artists, just a business that runs on conning desperate college students. Original 4x4 was $659, moved down to $599 during a promotion with a constant email spam saying it would go back up to 'market price," I signed on the last day of said deal. The next day, the price goes down to $489. I requested to move out, they told me because I signed the lease I could not and would be charged a$250 fee to sublease and even then wasnt guaranteed and still responsible for the apartment, mind you this was 3 MONTHS BEFORE move in. DO NOT SIGN HERE, units are small, incomplete, and no wifi. Better off at the Scarlet right across the street.
This place is great with a good amount of space... when the wifi is working. I’ve been here for 2 weeks and the wifi has gone out 2-3 times already and it just stopped while I was downloading a file, so I can’t imagine relying on this wifi while im taking a test or trying to submit a paper.
I signed my lease in July on the $499 deal and with no application fee or deposit. I am more than pleased with what I got for that price. Everything is as depicted in the pictures on their website. I am from the Dallas area and for the price I am paying I wouldn't get nothing near this nice in Dallas. I do understand some people's annoyance with their rate but you do have to keep in mind that jumping on something when it says "last day of this deal" is always a gamble because it is brilliant marketing. All in all I am very pleased with what I got at my rate.
