final edit: I highly recommend Alyssa the trainer. She's positive. Body positive. And reliable. If you decide to go through the one on 50th ask for her if she's available! Upgrading to 4 stars.

Edit: I was given a new trainer, but the times they can meet are very limited for a person that works during the day. For folks with inflexible jobs, it would be tough. The head trainer gave me a workout session that didn't count towards my two makeups so that was a plus. So I'm appreciative of what was done to rectify and my new trainer seems a bit more professional and reliable. I still don't recommend signing a long-term contract like I did (try it out first if you decide to) but that's just my opinion.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM. Bodywork is nothing but a big business designed as a gym. They will charge you obnoxious fees for their services and they make it so incredibly hard to break their membership that many people go into debt trying to get out of it. They are nothing but greedy thieves DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU LIKE NOT HAVING YOUR MONEY STOLEN. They have honestly ruined me from ever getting another gym membership.

I go often to this body Works. I love it cause it has that old school vibe. Pure iron with lots, I mean lots of weight stations. There is a pretty good variety of cardio stations, but this location is designed more for the weight training. Also there members that are regulars there are all work and no play and what I mean by that is, they go in, get there workout, and there gone. So if your looking to get a good weight training session on. 50th is the place to be. As far as staff goes I've never had an issue. If I've ever needed help there quick to respond.

Best gym.. 82nd be 34th too packed.. quad machine in the pack needs attention tho; it's uneven

Another edit: The gym itself is good. I've never had an issue getting to workout on a machine. Wish people cleaned up after themselves/there were more cleaning wipe stations (I'd switch to the pre-moistened that other gyms use so they don't have to use spray bottles on the paper towels), but that's my only real complaint with the gym itself.

PLEASE check elliptical number 8 at this location...the suspension on this machine has been way OFF for a LONG time now and still hasn't been fixed. This machine requires you to increase the resistance to about 14 before it even feels like a difference in resistance. There is also another elliptical ( unsure of the number) that doesn't even turn on! please update the machines in this facility...
