Dr. Loveless and his staff (particularly the smart, kind Robin) took time, care, and listened. I had a careful and very complete exam. They were straightforward about findings, possible procedures, and answered all my questions frankly. I learned more about my congenital condition in my first two visits than i had in my in my entire life. I feel confident that the continuing major work will be done well. Dr. Loveless has all the best qualities that anyone would seek in any medical practitioner—empathy, experience, and a thoughtful approach that shows he loves what he does. In any profession, someone who loves what they do always brings a curiosity that solves problems and ultimately takes pride in their work. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough.

I absolutely love Dr. Loveless and would recommend any of my close family and friends to come here! Dr. Loveless has been my dentist since I was in high school. I still remember when I had to have a root canal and his sweet wife Paula coming in and held my hand throughout the whole procedure! Seriously, the most caring and loving office! I now live in Houston and work as a dental hygienist and still travel to Lubbock for any dental treatment. Most recently, Dr. Ricks replaced an amalgam filling for me with a composite- he did an awesome job! And not to mention, the hygienist, Cori, is fabulous! Really everyone should be going here!!
My experience at the Yellow House Dental and Implant Center was amazingly excellent, especially when compared to my experience at the dental clinic I had been using. The difference has been like night and day. Dr. Loveless is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor who personally works with you every step of the way at every visit. He has taken great care to meticulously create a near perfect set of dentures to fit my very imperfectly shaped mouth. He listens to me, is never condescending, and he always gives me encouragement with an "I can fix that" attitude. I would recommend him to anyone expecting a set of natural looking, comfortable, and functional dentures. The entire office team at Yellow House has treated me like family, and that my comfort and satisfaction was very important. Unlike my first poorly fitting denture set made at the chain dental clinic on Slide Road, I no longer have to remove my dentures to eat, I can speak clearly, and I feel like smiling again because my dentures feel good and look good.

Having a maxiliofacial birth defect, I have seen more dentists than most people and of wildly varying quality. I had given up on finding anyone who either understood what he was looking at or who didn’t make the experience an ordeal. I went to see Dr. Loveless resigned to simply trying, once again, to get through desperately needed work. So, I arrived as a ‘bad patient’ with less than low expectations. And, ended up surprised: I have never, ever, had a better experience.
