Dr. Thurber & his staff are especially attentive to me as an individual. I have some dental anxiety & they listen & take care to put me at ease. Dr. Thurber is informative about your options as far as your dental treatment. He lists options in detail allowing you to make the decision that is best for you. I recommend him & his staff for your dental needs...such a welcoming & friendly staff......I always leave with a smile!
I'd not been to a Dentist in a very long time, unfortunately, due to financial difficulties. Had heard a great number of things about Dr. Thurber, his wonderful technicians & staff, how professional & thorough they were. I finally found that I could afford a visit and eventually made my way to the office. Greeted promptly and most kindly upon entering, barely a wait to speak of. Technology has surely evolved.. As my mouth was "scanned" and a diagnosis, quick; needed extreme cleaning (no surprise), a couple of cavities and two chipped incisors, that I was so self-conscious of that, I never smiled openly. I knew it would not be inexpensive to deal with these myriad issues.. BUT, the great way of this Office.. They are extremely flexible on payment; plans can be drawn depending on an individual and personalized basis.. They will work with you! As all procedures were done, I could not have been more surprised or pleased with the results; Dr. Thurber is the "Michelangelo" of re-sculpting/reconstructing teeth, I even told him so! I can actually smile with great confidence, again! More than anything, I appreciate the dedication to the health of as well as raising the awareness and importance of dental health education to the patient, that is given. Dr. Thurber, his impeccable technicians & staff are just THE BEST!!
When I came in for my appointment, I was greeted by a smiling receptionist who called me by name and had my paperwork in hand ready for me to sign. Shortly they escorted me for X-rays, then seated me for the dental cleaning. She was extremely pleasant and very kind. Everyone was concerned and respectful of their patients and had our comfort in mind. I AM SO THANKFUL THEY ACCEPTED ME AS THEIR NEW PATIENT! I FEEL HONORED. THANK YOU DR. JAMES THURBER AND YOUR WONDERFUL STAFF!!

Dentist James L. Thurber must be your dentist!! Here's my experience.
I was looking for a new dentist and my Insurance Company gave me Dr. Thurber's name so I googled him. Everything I read about he and his staff was very explainable and thorough. I called the office to schedule as a New Patient and was greeted by a very professional and friendly lady. She was warm and friendly, and asked me to fill out the Patient Information online explaining, that way it would be quicker at check-in. This is very helpful to them and me so you don't have to sit in the office filling out paperwork. It's already done...online.
Dr. Thurber is a great dentist and his staff is outstanding. Always helpful greeting me with a personal welcome. Quick to get in and see with urgent problems. My dental cleaning was the best I've had!
