Update: Dr. Lawson personally reached out to me to make sure my transition to another dentist went smoothly. He also made sure I was able to get my X-Rays from Lakeridge Dental and provide those to my new dentist. He reached out again a couple months later to make sure everything has been going well for me since then.

Also echoing what other reviewers have said, while the staff didn't talk about anything while working on me (because they didn't do any work on me), I could hear them chatting away while working over the patient next to me.

We love this office!!! We have been patients of Dr. Snuggs for over 15 years and have always received the best care. We feel at home from the moment we walk in the door until we leave. The front staff, dental assistants, hygienists, and of course the dentists are fantastic! We are grateful for such a wonderful place to go to where the entire staff genuinely cares about us! From the minute I became a patient the staff and doctors did a great job of putting me at ease and explaining what to expect. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the doctor took the time to make sure all my questions are answered. I would recommend Lakeridge Dental to anyone looking for a good dental experience.
I cannot express how infuriated I am with their complete lack of respect for my time. I gave them two chances, and they blew it both times. I'm searching for a new dentist now.
Original Review: My very first visit, I waited nearly an hour in the lobby before they called me back. People who walked in after me were called back before me. Echoing what others have said, they claimed I needed 14 fillings without any explanation, which seemed extremely high considering I've only had a couple in my entire life up to this point. They also took X-Rays, and I asked if they were covered by my insurance, and they said "yes." Turns out, they weren't completely covered and I got a bill in the mail.
On my second visit, the first of four schedule for my 14 fillings, I arrived at 7:26 a.m. for a 7:30 appointment. Checked in, and was called back at 7:36. So far so good. She took my blood pressure and said the doctor would be with me shortly. Dr. Lawson came by at 7:44 and administered the Q-tip of numbing agent, and then a shot in my gum. He then said "we're going to let that sit in, and then I'll be back in a bit to give you a second round of shots." I've never had to get a second round of shots. Now I know why they do two rounds. After waiting 45 minutes for the doctor to return, the shot had already begun to wear off. I was regaining feeling in my cheek that was completely numb just a few minutes after the shot was administered. With no idea of when the doctor was going to come back and begin, I walked out at 8:30 on the dot, one hour after my scheduled appointment. They didn't even call me to see what was wrong until 8:49. For all I know, that's when they first noticed I was gone, which was more than one hour after I received my shot. Even more frustrating, the person on the phone merely asked "what happened?" I explained what's in this review about having to wait too long and how I hated waiting that long, yet she never said the word "sorry." It was just "OK." Terrible customer service.
