I normally don't do these postings but I feel it is important that I share this. I have purchased several animals from this place and found that they have been infested with several types of contagious insects. Ear mites, fleas, ring worms, etc.......!!!!!! It doesn't seem that they take pride in keeping the animals healthy and clean. I would recommend to anyone looking to purchase animals from here to be cautious of these issues that can effect your children and also your other pets.
My boyfriend and I went in one day on a Saturday to look for a puppy. The store had customers, but wasn't busy. We waited for the employee to finish with the customer she was already helping, so we could ask about a puppy that we were interested in. Instead of helping us, she skipped right over to the next customers. We patiently waited AGAIN, for for her to finish with the customers and when she did she went to the customers that came in after them. We ended up leaving without looking at any of the puppies they had in the store.
Love love this place. Always so nice and polite! The nice lady in the reptile department is very knowledgeable about snakes and super helpful!
I love this family owned shop that has served Lubbock since 1983! They have very a experienced staff, and will special order items for you. They also have a drive-thru! How cool (not to mention convenient) is that?
I personally have gone LONG out of my way to go shop at Pets plus because it's a family owned business. It's VERY clean and their knowledge of all their pets and products are stellar. The customer service is fantastic and the animals are top notch. The welfare of the animals are given highest priority. You can tell they all work hard, but they all love what they do. I am a lifetime pets plus customer. Fantastic services!
