After searching all of the big box stores along with other local shops, we decided to purchase our equipment from Paul's Parts. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. We were glad to know the Ellis family was back in ownership and focusing on customer service. Our decision basically came down to the ability to service our equipment where we purchased it. After about a month, we unfortunately had a small problem with one of the pieces of equipment. We brought it in 1st thing when they opened and they had us back up and running the same day. Thank You George we appreciate you and your staff taking care of us from purchase to maintenance.
Paul's Parts has changed ownership and is now back in the family. You will experience a professional, curtiious and very knowledgeable staff. Parts and service has greatly improved in efficiency and you can depend on what they say and do. The new owner and staff will make sure every customer is satisfied. There is a new fresh look and product lineup. They have a huge Stihl display, California Trimmer reel mowers and have secured the Gravely dealership for ZTRs. Took my push mower in for what is probably a simple repair, and they said 2 and one half weeks.
Terrible experience and terribly expensive. Im only leaving one star, because that's all I could leave. Took a commercial mower in for a throttle related problem in about mid-may, they told me it would be complete in a weeks time. I call them 2weeks later, kid behind the phone told me it would be ready by the afternoon. Drove out there to realize it wasn't. 4 weeks later I call them, they than tell me they ordered two back wheels (which wasn't what the initial complaint), they were waiting on a part. Mean while my other lawn mower was having a series of problems. 2,months later. My only lawnmower was dead and after a firm phone call to the owner my other one at their shop was finally complete, 358 dollars later, I took the "fixed"lawnmower home. It still wouldn't start, and the new wheels (I never asked for) wouldn't turn left or right. Took it straight back and they fixed it all in 1 hour. 1 HOUR..1HOUR FOLKS. Now three weeks later the back wheel doesn't self propel. If you run a business ... DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING TO THESE GUYS. The owner doesn't know anything about lawn mower repairs and they only have one mechanic. It's costed me lots money, time and business.
