The front desk staff is extremely unprofessional and rude. Never seen Dr. Pankratz due to the behavior and lack of help from the front office.
I will never see this doctor again. First they screwed up on the reason why I went there. Second he refused to do the surgery that the VA sent me there for because he didn’t want to be blamed in case the surgery didn’t work. He also wanted me to redo all the tests that I had done several times with heads of departments in 5 different states. He also wanted me to try a brace that I already had. The specialists that he wanted me to see was someone he knew. What a racket. He seemed to be more concerned with keeping me on pain meds more than getting me off of them. I would have given him a zero star if I could have. To me, he seemed more concerned that I would sue him if he did surgery on me. I went back to the VA and told them what happened and they are pissed at him. I would NOT recommend him for even a cold!
Dr. Pankratz is an excellent surgeon with a wonderful beside manner. He repaired a hip fracture for me which healed quickly and thoroughly. I appreciate his kindness and also his gracious staff for all of their support during this time. Thank you all. J. Webster
