This park is great to walk around! Great place to walk the dog and watch the ducks. Fun place to take the family to spend some time outside. Park is usually well kept by the city.
Walking path is poorly/not maintained. Agrigate is washed away on a major portion. Floods and stays flooded long after the rain has ended. Other than that it is one of the more beautiful parks in Lubbock.
This is a nice walking park in Lubbock. The loop is pretty long and is made m mostly of decomposed granite. There are several trees and resting benches. The west side of the trail tends to flood on rainy days. So heads up. There is also a nice kid play section. Fills up with Canadian geese in the winter and seeing them take flight against the sunset is pretty spectacular.
Amazing Park. And the ducks are so beautiful , except for the Canadian geese being very territorial and attacking me over it's space and when I'm not even near it's space it flies at me and it bites me. a very testosterone filled animal, with a lot of anger.
Nice and convenient with running track, volleyball court, and children's play area. Track floods easily after brief rain.
