To many chiefs and not enough Indians. Been here several times to get my son's social security card. And each "wonder" employee told me something different in what I need to bring. This last lady finally gave me a note in what I actually needed to bring. Hopefully the 5 time will be my last.
Since lubbock is the city of thugs and number 41 dangerous cities to live in, this social security building has hired thugs to harass, control and threaten the people here. There are rare good people who work here one is a male who keeps phone conversations short and to the point. Others like grace garcia are known to fight with her words. If you can, try going to another Social Security building. These people are not for the people but volatile towards the people.
I called to get a name change for my son. I gave them an adoption decree as well as an amended birth certicate and they gave us a hard time about those documents. The guy I spoke with was rude and impatient as I tried explaining that I was from out of state. I had to speak with a Supervisor whom I'm sure in no way reprimanded the worker on his "customer service" which was horrible.
Waiting on direct deposit. Rosie Coradado told me some banks take 2 3 or more days for it to show. Not true my bank has no pending transactions and no record if anything. They told me which I already knew an electronic transaction is almost instant. She said she entered it while we were on the phone. She never shows up for work and she probably called from home. I don't believe the infirmation was ever entered for direct deposit. Hell I received the letter on the change already in one day. Are you telling me the mail is faster than light. I don't think so. And I want to know what is going on with MY money. Its my money. I've been giving you people money I earned my whole life now give it too me. It's not yours it's mine. Rosie doesn't return my calls, she doesn't keep her appointments and I have left 10 messages with her. Typical government bs. This is totally ridiculous. These people are paid with our taxes. It's time to clean house. Lubbock SS get ready you are all on notice. You better start looking for other employment.
