I honestly and truly love this place. There is always such a great atmosphere and the people there always treat you with their best. With Aalon Salon you get what you ask for, so if you ask for greatness that is what you will get. They make your visit into something you can actually enjoy. Great facility, fabulous stylist, wonderful products, and an amazing outcome. You can't get any better than Aalon Salon anywhere else in Lubbock, and it's a fact you won't leave unhappy.
Loved it! Walked in, and they could accommodate a long session: cute and intense coloring. Staff was friendly, it wasn't loud despite being busy, and its a great location.

The Bad: Not the place to go if you want a hair stylist that knows what they're doing. My past girlfriends' haircuts were the worst I've ever on any woman ever. None of the hair stylists knew the difference between texturizing and thinning. Every time I tried to help the hair stylist understand they got defensive then angry and careless with the hair.
The Neutral: Stays in business because it has a great location, great interior designing, the stylists are not the ugliest girls in Lubbock, offers a brief pamper routine and the name is at the top of the yellow pages section.
I have been trying to get my color fixed for over 10 years. I am over 40 and highlight my hair. It has been hard trying to find someone that understands your vision. The balance with highlights especially over 40 are difficult. You do not want to look like your living in your youth but you do want your hair to project who you are. Tommy Talley recommended Trenna Maxfield at his salon and I went in yesterday. BEST DAY EVER!! She was a true professional and spent an enormous amount of time trying to pull my vision out of me. She spent hours weaving in tiny pieces everywhere as she had lots of color correction. She had me turn around so I couldn't see her dry me out in the mirror. When she turned me around I cried for the first time ever with my hair. Amazing talent!!! She kept me blonde without looking washed out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRENNA. Tommy Talley is the best for her recommendation in his salon.
The Good: My girlfriends' colorings always came out well.
