I'm sorry, this has been the absolute worst leasing experience. They were fairly decent to deal with until we tried to move out. Came up with fake charges as well as inconsistent ones. There were late fees for someone of the renters but not others. Scraped you for every penny when it comes to the deposit and gave my roommate my pet deposit back. Not to mention Alfonso is the worst person to work with, incredibly unprofessional and has no problem breaking the lease. DO NOT LEASE FROM THIS COMPANY.
My online portal thing says I owe over 1700 in late fees and I don't understand why! I always pay my rent on time, have proof of receipts and wanna show but the landlord doesnt want to return my calls when it comes to issues about this!
*edit* I reached out to this company just trying to get my deposit back, after receiving it and finding it to be wrong (they split my pet deposit between me and my other two roommates so this still owed me $200. I emailed them three times regarding this, texted them once and then resorted to calling after weeks with no response. On the phone I was told I was in the right and they would fix this immediately. It has now been three weeks and I have yet to get the $200 back. I called a second time to inform the company of this in which I was told "well I let Amanda know, I'm not sure what else to tell you". I'm sorry, Amanda could you do your job and return my deposit to me? Thanks
Once again, I reiterate, DO NOT LEASE FROM STERLING CREEK.

BEWARE. Only giving one star because I have to. The absolutle WORST experience with a rental company that I have had in my life. You will not recieve your deposit back because they charge you for every upgrade in the house after you move out, all the way to the batteries in the smoke alarms. I worked with Andrew and he was very rude and unkind and even hung up on me. These people are professionals at ripping off college students.
If I could give these guys zero stars I would. My son is a tenant of theirs and every request he has made to get a problem fixed is met with lie's about how they will get out there and they never do. I personally called the owner of Sterling Creek a month ago to get him to repair the back patio which they dug up. He promised me they would be out in about a week to get it taken care of. A month later it is still not repaired.
Friends don't let friend rent from Sterling Creek Properties. They are crooks. They will ignore your maintenance requests and try to nickel and dime you with surprise charges or fake late fees as much as they can. Alfonso who works there is seriously one of the worst people I've ever delt with, ever. It's pathetic how unprofessional he is. You don't have to take my word for it just look at all these other 1 star reviews
